Children
are very important at Concordia. The Children's ministry includes
newborns through grade five. This ministry is geared toward
helping the children grow in faith through age specific activities,
intergenerational activities, and Home training. It is our goal
to partner with the home which is the primary agency for faith
formation, to better equip parents to be the primary faith teachers.
Our
hope is to partner with you in nurturing the children
and youth of Concordia and their friends in their faith.
We invite you to join us in Bible Study, and the modeling
and practice of Christ-centered relationships.
Concordia
provides extensive ministry opportunities for Junior, Senior
and College age youth. Youth ministry at Concordia strives to
help support parents and better equip them to teach and live
the faith, as well as provide opportunities for youth to come
together to fellowship, serve God and others, and grow in faith.
Concordia's
Adult Ministries exists for nurturing faith in Jesus Christ,
empowering the use of gifts, and training to help adults and
parents touch people with Jesus Christ for healing and service.
We
are a group of some 500 seniors dedicated to "Sharing the
Caring Christ" through service and fellowship. It is our
goal to reach out to Seniors of various ages and stages with
the caring love of Christ and to support one another in the
process. You are invited to participate in our ministry in any
way appropriate.
While
each specific age group provides ministry to help support and
nurture homes, some ministries are provided to support and partner
with all homes, including every age specific ministries.

Lutheran South is a co-educational, private, Christian school serving approximately 600 students in grades 9 through 12 who live in St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and the surrounding areas. While more than 90% of our students come from area Lutheran congregations, we welcome the diversity brought by students from other Christian denominations.
