CIM is Concordia’s central mission agency for cross-cultural Gospel proclamation ministries. It is our opportunity to be
in mission and ministry, a crucial part of the Discipleship Template, reaching beyond our walls with the Gospel of
Christ. Your offerings designated on the “CIM” line of your contribution envelopes serve to support the outreach efforts
listed on the opposite page. (Please keep in mind that all donations need to be specifically designated as CIM).

A Mission Prayer for Today
“O Lord, how many are Your works! In wisdom You made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions. They all wait for You
to give them their food in due season. You give to them and they gather it up. You hide Your face and they are dismayed. You
send forth Your Spirit, they are created, and You renew the face of the ground” (Psalm 104:24, 27 - 30).
Thank You, Lord, for all that You provide us. Thank You for our food and shelter. Thank You for Your Spirit that renews us.
Renew us in our work of supporting the missionaries. Renew us our desire to bring Your Word to the ends of the earth. Renew
in our hearts the urgent need to spread Your Gospel. Renew us in our love for You and for each other. May we live a life of love
through Your Spirit who dwells in us. Help us to persevere in all that we do and help us especially to run with perseverance
the race marked out for us. Cultivate in us the ability to show true humility toward all. Give us servant hearts that we may serve
wholeheartedly as if we were serving You, not men. Give us souls that “follow hard after You,” that cling passionately to You.
Give us the desire to see Your glory declared among the nations, Your marvelous deeds among all peoples.

From supporting an evangelism camp for children in the mountains of India to
providing for teaching English as a second language to immigrants and foreign
